One key result from all the trials was the release of Version 2.0 of the DND CALS DTD. It features:

• Modular Design - support for controlled customization and maintenance; controlled evolution of DTD
• Full Documentation - fully documented DTD and applications
• Sample Application Components- includes FOSIs, transformation scripts, browser style sheets
• Sample Data and Demonstration Scenarios - scripted examples illustrating key features
